All four of our surgeons are Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. They have received specialized training that qualifies them as a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment or oral diseases, injuries and fractures of the facial region, reconstruction of facial abnormalities, pathologic lesions of the face, preparation of the jaws for dentures including placement of dental implants, surgical root canal therapy, temporomandibular joint disorders, salivary gland disease, as well as the removal of teeth. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons also receive specialized training that prepares them to provide these services to you safely using local anesthesia, sedation (drowsy and relaxed), or a general anesthesia (fully asleep). They work in close cooperation with your family dentist and physician in an effort to provide you with the finest dental health care possible. Our staff operates as a team. We are proud of each staff member's training and capabilities. We want you to have confidence in them.
Northern Vermont Oral Surgery is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm. We do change our hours for the summer months of mid- June through August. We begin our day at 7:00 am and end at 3:00 pm. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
We try to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Because Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery provides surgical services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergencies can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
