Bradford M. Towne, D.M.D.

Bradford M. Towne, DMD is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating from dental school he served three years in the United States Army, completing a one-year general practice residency program and then two years as a hospital based general dentist. He completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983, and has practiced in Vermont since then.
Dr. Towne is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and served on their Board of Trustees from 1997 through 2001. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (board certified). He is a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the Vermont Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and Vermont State Dental Society. Dr. Towne has also been honored by being nominated and inducted as a Fellow into both the American College of Dentists in 1996 and the International College of Dentists in 2003.
Dr. Towne is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He is a member of the medical staff at Central Vermont Medical Center, and serves as Chairman of their Credentials Committee. He is also a member of the medical staff at Fletcher Allen Health Care and Northwestern Medical Center. His clinical interests include dental implants, cosmetic surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, oral pathology and bone grafting.
