Meet Dr. Bradford M. Towne

Bradford M. Towne, D.M.D. is a graduate of the University of Arizona and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school he served three years in the United States Army, completing a one-year general dental practice residency followed by two years as a hospital based general dentist. He completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1983, and has practiced in Vermont since then.

Dr. Towne is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and served on their Board of Trustees from 1997 through 2001.  In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Towne is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.  He is a member of the Vermont Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and Vermont State Dental Society and an Associate Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Towne has also been honored by being inducted as a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Towne is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Vermont, College Of Medicine. He is a member of the medical staff at Central Vermont Medical Center where he served as Chairman of the Credentials Committee for over 10 years. He is also a member of the medical staff at Fletcher Allen Health Care His clinical interests include facial rejuvenation and cosmetic facial surgery as well as dental implants, bone grafting to restore the jawbone for implants and dentoalveolar surgery.
